Commerce will hold a rulemaking workshop on Aug. 22 as part of its work to implement Washington’s new 100% clean electricity law, known as the Clean Energy Transformation Act (CETA). This will be Commerce’s third workshop on CETA implementation.
The workshop will take place on Thursday, Aug. 22, 9 a.m. – noon, at Commerce’s Olympia Office, 1011 Plum St. SE, in Olympia, Wash.
The workshop will cover three topics:

- Social cost of greenhouse gas emissions for consumer-owned utilities to use in resource planning and evaluation.
- Initial discussion of potential areas to streamline requirements of the Energy Independence Act with CETA.
